Privacy notice
Last updated: September 21, 2026
In short:
- This website has no forms and doesn't ask for your data. While you read it, nothing about you is collected.
- Your data is whatever you write to me by WhatsApp or email, and I only use it to reply and to do your work.
- I don't sell, lend or trade anyone's information. Ever.
Below is the same thing, in detail and with the terms the law requires. This is the English version of the privacy notice in Spanish, which is the one issued under Mexican law.
1. Who is responsible
I'm Manuel Agustín Chavez Escalera, an individual registered for business activity in Mexico. Página Clara is the trade name I work under. I'm responsible for the use and protection of your personal data, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
For anything about this notice, email me at manuel@paginaclara.com.
2. What data I collect, and when
- If you write to me by WhatsApp or email: your name, the phone number or email you write from, your business name and whatever you tell me about it.
- If you become a client: the business information needed to build your website (address, phone numbers, hours, services, prices, photos and your ad) and your tax information, if you ask me for an invoice.
- While you read this website: nothing about you. There are no forms, no sign-up and no cart. The service that hosts the website keeps technical logs, such as IP addresses, like any website.
I will never ask you for passwords, bank account details or your card number by WhatsApp, email or phone. If someone asks for them on my behalf, it isn't me.
3. What I use it for
- Replying to you and making your free sample.
- Building, publishing and maintaining your website, and making the changes you ask for.
- Registering the domain in your name.
- Charging for the service and, if you ask, invoicing you.
- Letting you know about your service: the domain needs renewing, something broke, a card expired.
All of these are necessary purposes for providing the service. There are no secondary purposes: I don't add you to any mailing list and I don't send you advertising.
4. What I don't do with your data
- I don't sell it, rent it or share it with anyone so they can sell you something.
- I don't store your card.
- I don't publish your information without your OK. You approve the text of your website before it goes live.
- I don't use it for anything other than your service.
5. Who it's shared with
To do my work I use services from other companies, and your data passes through them only as needed:
- Google Workspace: my email.
- WhatsApp (Meta): the messages we exchange.
- Vercel: where your website lives.
- Porkbun: your domain registration.
- Stripe: the monthly payment.
Each one has its own privacy notice. Apart from them, I don't transfer your data to anyone, unless an authority requests it in writing and in accordance with the law.
6. About payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. You register your card on a Stripe page, not on mine. I never see or store your card number: all I see is whether the charge went through, and the last four digits so I know which card it is.
7. Cookies and analytics
This website doesn't use cookies and doesn't store anything on your phone or computer.
To know whether the website is useful, it keeps a count of visits and of how many times a button is tapped. It's an anonymous count: it uses no cookies, stores no identifiers, and doesn't reveal who you are or follow you to other sites.
8. Your rights
At any time you can ask me what data of yours I have, to correct it if it's wrong, to delete it, or to stop using it. These are the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection. You can also withdraw the consent you gave me.
To do so, email manuel@paginaclara.com from the email or number we've been in touch through, telling me what you'd like. I'll reply within 20 business days, though it's almost always the same day.
If you stop being a client and ask me to delete everything, I will, except what the law requires me to keep, such as invoices.
If you feel I didn't handle your request properly, you can contact Mexico's Secretariat of Anti-Corruption and Good Government, which since 2025 handles the data protection duties that used to belong to INAI.
9. Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the new version is published on this same page, with its date. If the change is important and you're a client, I'll let you know by WhatsApp or email.
